Today I had the honor to interview a very passionate artist who was ready to send positive vibes through the airwaves. Starting off Raw told me that he was first influenced by KRS-1 ,and a few other pioneers, and would love to collab with KRS-1 because of his intellect, and skillful verbiage. Other than music Raw, and Harlem Rose has a clothing line. They are from, and reside in New Jersey just right over the bridge from where the birth of hip-hop arose. As the conversation went on he explained that the thing that keeps him moving in business, and music is his love for the hip hop culture, and the motivation he gets from his business partner, and producer Harlem Rose. He spoke on the topic of Mumble rap briefly stating that it's too commercial, and industry made, and doesn't really care for the style because, it doesn't really require much artistry ,and feels that Hip-Hop was dumbed down in a huge way. His advice for upcoming artists would be to come out original, and network heavy in,and out of your demographic region, be humble, and make sure you network with artists in your local area. He spoke very passionately about community activism by saying that parents need to stop friending their children, and start parenting. He also would like to see people promoting education more, and stop the gang gang talk. When speaking on double standards Raw spoke widely on the subject saying that before women were more lyrical but, now they feel entitled because it's the looks that get them in the industry. He ended the conversation by shouting out his fan's ,family, DELYRIC ENTERTAINMENT,and many more. You can check out his music on YouTube So Strong, an ep called Blue Collar America ,and a track called Brought a Tank ft- Crazy from The 504 BOYS.. You can reach RAW WEBB, and Harlem @therealharlemrose on Instagram, raw.shee_webb.com ,and RAW WEBB at Facebook.. You can find all their music on itunes, spotify, and tidal...BIG Ups homie...
