WHO WILL SET THE EXAMPLE

Who will set the example?

Have you ever been on a social media site, and seen something that totally baffled you? Now days you may browse the internet ,and see under dressed teens, open drug use ,or even receive an inbox from the opposite sex’s private parts. Just recently at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus,Ohio a young man who was visiting his sick child took it upon himself to go live on facebook brandishing a handgun. Police officer’s found the gun inside a sweatshirt that was placed in the child’s car seat.

Report’s stated that another man seen what was going on ,and called the authorities.The man was arrested ,and his bond was set at $250,000 . In 2016 the man was placed under arrest on a 3rd degree felony for burglary . Now a day’s we see things that we don’t understand but, this takes the cake. As parents were suppose to set an example for our children, sadly the younger generation have been misled by many influences outside of the home like artist’s, and the social media .We must be a sanctuary for our children. A baby cannot conceive, or raise itself. We must be proactive in how we raise our children . This is our next generation of leaders .The world is full of corrupted people who’s sole purpose is to lead our children astray.Without a decent upbringing ,and positive mindset children are more influenced to dealing in drugs ,using drugs or gun violence . Look around , today when you look at the values that have been forgotten in society. Teens being disrespectful to the elder’s, parent’s afraid to discipline their children or, plain unavailable to raise them properly. You’d think that with all the senseless violence going on in our community that parents would want to set an example to lead children in a better direction but, they now bring guns into the very establishment set to help their sick children. This father could have tried to be a positive influence on his child even taught him better but, now he’s incarcerated leaving the child in the hand’s of society. What example will you set for your children?
